Frequently asked questions
What happens if something gets damaged?
Gear gets used — we get it. Minor wear and tear is completely expected and covered. If something is significantly damaged or lost during your trip, we'll reach out after you return the kit and work through it with you fairly. We're not here to surprise you with hidden fees.
How far in advance do I need to book?
We recommend booking at least 5-7 days before your trip to guarantee delivery.
Popular weekends: especially summer and fall book out fast. If you're planning a last minute trip, reach out to us and we'll do our best to make it work.
Is the gear clean and ready to use?
Always. Every kit is fully inspected, cleaned, and repacked after every rental. If anything doesn't meet our standards it gets replaced before it goes back out. You'll never receive a kit that isn't completely ready to use.
How do I return my kit?
Every kit comes with a prepaid return label. When you're back from your trip, pack everything back into the bag it came in, attach the label, and drop it at your nearest shipping location.
Can I pick up my kit instead of getting it delivered?
Absolutely. If you're local, you can pick up and drop off your kit at our Manhattan location .
Just select pickup at checkout, grab your kit before your trip, and drop it back off when you're done. Easy.
